Here are some Electronics projects done as part of my coursework, you can read about them and see them demonstrated through the links below:
  • Arduino Metronome/Tuner                          Demonstration           Paper
  • Microphone Candle Circuit                          Demonstration           Paper
  • Water Level Detection Circuit                        Demonstration           Paper

WindHawks Wind Energy Competition Project - I was part of a senior capstone project to develop an efficient wind turbine.  I was on the electrical team, where I build and programmed an Arduino circuit that measured the turbine and load outputs and dynamically adjusted the turbine RPM to maximize efficiency.
Here is the final report.

 High School Projects

InvenTeam

I was a team lead on the Billerica Memorial High School MIT Lemelson InvenTeam.  We are building a flat-roof snow-load monitor system to address the serious problem of roof collapses.  Check out our blog.

Here is a presentation describing our InvenTeam project.

Sadly, the grand finale of EurekaFest 2020 at the Smithsonian was replaced with a virtual event.  Here's a link to our EurekaFest 2020 video presentation.

We were featured in the Lowell Sun local newspaper:

Billerica high students head to Smithsonian to put STEM on the map

Robotics
I was an active member of the BMHS FRC Team, the Billerica Bionics.
Here's the Team web page with updates on our progress.  The Bionics won First Place in the New England First District Granite State event in March 2020.

DECA

DECA prepares students to be leaders and entrepreneurs.  As a member of the High School DECA Team, my presentation of our InvenTeam concept won 2nd place in the Entrepreneurship Innovation Plan category at the Massachusetts DECA District Competition in January 2020, qualifying me for the DECA State Competition in February 2020.   See my poster on the project:
